How do we arrive to Xinalani

Here is some additional info that will help in the planning process. Xinalani is only 12 miles south of Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR). The 250-yard-wide private beach is accessible only by boat. Personalized transportation service is included in the retreat price for guests to be escorted from the airport to Xinalani. Check in is at 3:00 PM. Check out is at 12:00 PM. As Xinalani is only accessible by boat, there is no road leading to the resort. Guests should book an arrival flight that lands no later than 4:00 PM and a departure flight that takes off no earlier than 12:00 PM. All guests arriving to the airport after 4:30 PM (as scheduled or due to delays or flight cancellations) will have to find their own accommodations at their own expense for the evening and will be transferred to Xinalani the following morning. They will receive a new transfer schedule and instructions notice by email in a timely manner. NO transportation service will be provided if the arrival flight lands after 4:30 pm on the arrival day or departs before 12:00 pm on the departure day. For safety reasons, the guests will need to spend the night in Puerto Vallarta, Xinalani will not be responsible for the hotel night in Puerto Vallarta as we are letting the retreat planner know in advance about the flight times.

What is the style of Laurie's Retreats?

Laurie's retreats feel like a warm embrace, a weighted blanket, a deep exhale in these energetically volatile times. When we access these deeper states of peace within our nervous system, we experience the opportunity for clarity and expansion.  We can look in the mirror and see exactly what needs to shift. We will experience slow flow vinyasa infused with energetic work within the chakras, the seasons, and the elements of our direct environment. Laurie's hope is that we learn the tools to allow gentle movement to nourish and calibrate our lives.

Laurie teaches Slow Flow Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Meditation and Kundalini. In recent years, Laurie has created yoga classes that address her own experience with autoimmune disease. Nervous system regulation is often a part of her yoga offerings, espeically for those clients with autoimmunity. She helps clients that have autoimmune disorders such as Hashimotos, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Diabetes, Lupus, Muscular Sclerosis, among others. Finding deep rest and peace in the nervous system is often the first step to healing. Laurie aims to offer tools we can take back to our day to day lives. She leads clients to reclaim the body as a safe haven, as source of strength, a homecoming.
