Rasa रस is the juice, essence or taste of life
We will deeply honor the bounty of the harvest season surrounded by nourishment on this stunning hilltop property on the island of Mallorca. This retreat is an opportunity to connect with the sweetness or nectar, the Rasa of life.
Lila लीला līlā is the playful nature of the divine
In this dance of life (Lalita), our mischievous, blissful, passionate playfulness culminates as Rasa. Laurie's Rasa Vinyasa retreat is an invitation to open your heart and call in more joy and play into your life.
If you have been on Laurie's Chakra Vinyasa Retreats, you will love the Rasa flows. These are really fun classes! They are a natural evolution of creating deeper intimacy with ourselves, noticing any limitations we place on ourselves on how we move through the world.
Enjoy all-inclusive healthy food is made by in-house chef Nina Verbeek. Meals are healthy and gourmet, brimming with locally grown produce and freshly caught fish and seafood. This extraordinary setting serves all who are dedicated to spiritual transformation and personal growth.
Over 7 days we are able to experience twice daily meditation touch points that permeate our nervous system. If you haven't yet experienced this consistency in meditation before, you will love the impact it has on your ability to feel deep peace. Nervous system regulation is a tool that Laurie uses often in her yoga offerings, particularly helping those with autoimmune conditions.
What is Rasa Vinyasa?
In Mallorca, we will pair this rich elemental terrain with the concept of Rasa. When we call in Rasa, we connect with the sweetness, the nectar of our practice and our life.
This is an invitation to open your heart to the subtlety of the koshas. Often compared to tasting a drop of honey on the tongue, Rasa is a deep connection to the harvest, abundance, play, and taste. It is enjoying the dance of life.
The Mallorca retreat is designed to be welcoming for beginners and offers a gentle, nourishing structure that blends movement, rest, and self-inquiry.
What is the structure of the Mallorca retreat?
Each day begins in calm stillness with morning coffee or tea, followed by meditation and a grounding vinyasa flow yoga practice.
These classes are slow and accessible, incorporating breathwork, meditation, reflection, and occasional healing rituals such as cacao ceremonies, sound baths, nature walks, and yoga nidra to support deeper relaxation and inner connection.
After morning practice, guests enjoy a nourishing breakfast before a long mid-day break for rest, exploration, or integration time from late morning through the afternoon.
The day continues with a shared lunch, followed by restorative afternoon practices such as yoga nidra or sacred rituals like cacao, sound healing, or other guided experiences.
Evenings are dedicated to breathwork, meditation, and journaling to gently unwind and reflect on the day, before closing with a communal dinner in a peaceful and supportive atmosphere.
Where will we practice?
The onsite yoga shala is where we will gather for our sessions and ritual work. This is a beautiful space looking out across the island hilltops all the way out to sea.
